Revenue Science provides a leading targeting platform and advertising marketplace
that connect people to engaging advertising with the most advanced behavioral and targeting capabilities available.
NEW YORK (May 10, 2006) — Revenue Science, Inc., the global standard in behavioral targeting, announced today that it has named Bill Ruckelshaus as its new Chief Financial Officer. Effective immediately, Ruckelshaus will take over all financial responsibilities of the company.
Ruckelshaus joins Revenue Science after nearly four years at Expedia where he was the senior vice president of strategy and planning. During his tenure at Expedia Ruckelshaus performed a variety of roles in the corporate development and finance departments, and for the last two years has lead the company's acquisition and central strategy efforts, spearheaded key partner relationships, and evaluated opportunities for broadening and extending the scope of operations across all Expedia properties, including Expedia.com, Hotels.com, Hotwire.com and TripAdvisor to name a few.
"Working at Expedia when the online travel marketplace really exploded, I learned firsthand about the challenges of establishing and maintaining a leadership position during a period of tremendous growth. I am eager to put that experience to work for Revenue Science as it continues to build upon its leadership role in the behavioral targeting marketplace." said Ruckelshaus. "More than anything, I am excited about the opportunity to join the outstanding executive team assembled at Revenue Science."
Ruckelshaus brings almost twenty years of broad finance, banking and corporate development experience in the internet sector to Revenue Science. Prior to Expedia and IAC/InterActiveCorp, he served as director of technology mergers and acquisitions for Credit Suisse First Boston Technology Group, where he advised the firm's software, services and Internet clients in a variety of strategic transactions. Before that, he worked in the planning and finance departments at PepsiCo's Frito-Lay division, and was a consultant at Booz-Allen & Hamilton. Ruckelshaus holds an MBA from Darden Graduate School, University of Virginia, and has an AB from Princeton University.
"As the market and demand for Revenue Science's behavioral targeting continue to soar, Ruckelshaus' experience in guiding a major online marketer like Expedia will add tremendous value to our senior team," said Bill Gossman, CEO of Revenue Science. "Ruckelshaus' strong financial and strategic background makes him the perfect fit for Revenue Science."
