Account Executive

Revenue Science, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an Account Executive within the Advertiser Sales team. Reporting to the Director of Sales - West, the successful candidate's primary responsibility is to drive revenue for Revenue Science by consulting with marketers and interactive agencies on the best way to leverage the Revenue Science Targeting MarketplaceTM to reach their audience.

Responsibilities:

The Account Executive is responsible for accomplishing the objectives and responsibilities outlined below:

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and new business quota objectives provided by management.
  • Perform sales-related activity including prospecting, pitching, proposals, consultation, and closing.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key accounts including top agencies, large direct marketers and Fortune 1000 advertisers.
  • Ensure maximum territory coverage and represent Revenue Science at local industry events.
  • Conduct presentations and meetings at the media planner and director level.
  • Support company's sales strategy and assist in developing the ongoing strategy to incorporate new products and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Utilize consultative approach to understand the advertiser's business objectives and meet their marketing goals.
  • Communicate and partner with Client Strategists on campaign management needs.
  • Maintain in-depth understanding of company's technology, products, and services.
  • Maintain account records for all prospects and customers in Salesforce.
  • Attend regular sales meetings and company meetings as deemed appropriate by management.
  • Attend all trade shows and events required by management.
  • Follow established processes and procedures for all company operations.
  • Support company's corporate culture including adhering to established ethical standards.

Requirements/Skills:

  • Minimum of two years digital media sales experience
  • Superior track record of high client retention and exceeding sales goals
  • Must be a hunter and have strong prospecting and closing skills
  • Must possess strong work ethic necessary for success in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Existing/established relationships at the media buyer and director level required.
  • Proven leadership within the industry and participation within local organizations.
  • Driven self-starter, independently motivated with the ability to work autonomously
  • Strong communication (both verbal and written) and customer service skills
  • Must be capable of prioritization of multiple tasks in a deadline sensitive environment.
